Our distinctive Grand Lobby, complete with original marble columns and a unique gold and copper ceiling will leave a lasting impression on you and your guests. Formerly the concourse, this immense room also doubled as the general waiting room for passengers or eager relatives. Our gorgeous bar was once an operating newsstand and our coat check was formerly a ticket stand. You would never believe the lobby still has its original Terrazzo flooring from 1929. Because of its design, the Grand lobby is a very popular spot for ceremonies; especially weddings with the bride entering through the front doors directly onto her aisle. There are risers available for the officiant and bridal party to stand on for optimal viewing. Alternatively, the grand lobby is perfect for a cocktail hour, brunch or meeting spot as there can be tables and chairs arranged to your liking. The Grand Lobby can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 300 guests.
